Every consignment firearm is processed in full accordance with federal and state regulations. From intake to final transfer, we ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and securely. Your firearm remains protected under proper handling procedures and ATF guidelines throughout the entire process.

Step 1: Complete the Consignment Form
Provide basic information about yourself and your firearm. Include condition details and clear photos so we can properly evaluate and prepare your listing.
Step 2: Ship or Bring It In
Once your form is reviewed, our team will contact you with next steps. You may either:
Ship the firearm to VanTon Arms (following all legal shipping requirements)
Bring it directly to our location in Casey, Iowa
We will confirm receipt and begin the listing process.
Step 3: Stay Updated and Receive Payment
You will receive updates once your firearm is listed and when it sells. After the sale is finalized and funds clear, payment is issued within 7–14 business days.
The commission is applied to the final sale price before tax.
If the firearm does not sell within the selected consignment term (30, 60, or 90 days), a $15 paperwork fee applies. Per ATF regulations, the firearm must be legally transferred back to you. This requires completion of ATF Form 4473 at our store or shipment to a licensed FFL dealer near you.
Payments are distributed within 7–14 business days after the completed sale.
