Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate Carbine .44 Mag/.44 Spl – 16.5″ Barrel, Walnut Stock, 7-Round

The Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate Carbine in .44 Magnum/.44 Special is a masterfully crafted lever-action rifle that blends classic American heritage with modern practicality. Built for hunters, brush-country shooters, and lever-gun enthusiasts alike, this compact carbine delivers everything you love about the legendary Henry Big Boy in a lighter, faster-handling package.

At the heart of this rifle is a 16.5″ blued steel octagonal barrel that sheds nearly a pound compared to the standard Big Boy, without sacrificing accuracy or reliability. The factory-installed large loop lever ensures effortless cycling even with gloves on, making it an ideal companion for cold-weather hunts or rugged outdoor use. Weighing just 7.76 lbs with an overall length of 35″, this carbine is built to go where you go.

One of the standout features of this model is the side loading gate, allowing you to top off the 7-round tube magazine without ever dropping the rifle from your shoulder. Henry retained the traditional front-loading magazine tube as well, giving you two convenient options for loading and safe unloading in the field.

True to Henry’s American-made tradition, every component reflects exceptional craftsmanship. The straight-grip stock and forearm are fashioned from select American walnut, complemented by a polished brass barrel band and Henry’s signature hardened brass receiver. The smooth action and crisp trigger are hallmarks of authenticity that Henry shooters have come to expect.

Whether you’re navigating dense timber, riding the range, or adding a premium lever-action to your collection, the Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate Carbine is a proven performer that’s as beautiful as it is functional.
