Chiappa 1886 Kodiak Lever-Action Rifle – .45-70 Govt | 18″ Stainless Steel

Built for the most demanding conditions, the Chiappa 1886 Kodiak is a rugged lever-action rifle chambered in the hard-hitting .45-70 Government cartridge. Featuring an 18-inch stainless steel barrel, this compact powerhouse draws its DNA from the legendary Winchester Model 1886 — one of history’s most celebrated lever-action designs — and reimagines it for modern hunters, guides, and backcountry adventurers who demand reliability in any environment.

The stainless steel construction offers outstanding corrosion resistance, making the Kodiak an ideal companion in wet, humid, or harsh field conditions. The shortened 18-inch barrel provides a more maneuverable platform without sacrificing the raw stopping power that makes .45-70 a top choice for big game, bear country, and dangerous game applications.

Whether you’re deep in the Alaskan wilderness or pursuing whitetail through dense brush, the Chiappa 1886 Kodiak delivers the classic aesthetics of a time-tested action paired with modern durability. VanTon Arms is proud to offer this hard-to-find lever gun at a competitive price with fast nationwide shipping to your preferred FFL dealer.
