The Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil-Spec+ is a battle-proven, military-grade AR-15 platform built to the exacting standards trusted by U.S. Special Operations Forces. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO and featuring a 14.5″ cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a pinned and welded Daniel Defense flash suppressor, this rifle delivers exceptional accuracy, reliability, and durability in a compact carbine package.
Every component is engineered to Mil-Spec tolerances or beyond. The upper and lower receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard coat anodizing, while the enhanced flared magazine well and M4 feed ramps ensure smooth, positive feeding under any conditions. The M16-profile bolt carrier group is MP-tested and chrome-lined for lasting reliability, and the properly staked gas key prevents loosening under sustained fire.
The iconic Daniel Defense RIS II handguard – the same quad-rail system used on the military’s M4A1 SOPMOD Block II – provides a rock-solid Picatinny mounting platform for lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories. Santoprene rail panels (heat-resistant to 300°F) are included for comfort and heat management. The GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, H buffer, 6-position Mil-Spec receiver extension, and Daniel Defense soft-touch overmolded buttstock and pistol grip round out a package that’s ready to run straight out of the box.
