The Daniel Defense DDM4V7 SLW is a purpose-built, mil-spec AR-15 platform engineered for reliability, accuracy, and versatility. Featuring a 14.5″ cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined Chrome Moly Vanadium steel barrel with a pinned and welded Daniel Defense flash suppressor — making it a legal 16″ overall barrel configuration — this rifle is ready for serious use right out of the box.

**Upper & Lower Receivers**
Both the upper and lower receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum to mil-spec tolerances. The upper features M4 feed ramps and indexing marks, while the enhanced flared magazine well and rear receiver QD swivel attachment point on the lower add functional versatility for slings and accessories.

**Barrel & Gas System**
The 14.5″ lightweight-profile barrel is cold hammer forged from Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, chrome lined, mil-spec heavy phosphate coated, and HP/MPI tested for consistent performance. A mid-length direct impingement gas system with a pinned low-profile gas block machined from 4140 hardened steel and mil-spec phosphate coated delivers smoother, cooler, and more reliable cycling compared to carbine-length systems.

**Bolt Carrier Group**
The M16-profile BCG is mil-spec MP tested, chrome lined, and features a properly staked gas key — a detail that Daniel Defense takes seriously for long-term reliability.

**DDM4 MFR 13.5″ M-LOK Handguard**
The Daniel Defense MFR 13.5″ handguard is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish. M-LOK attachment slots provide a clean, lightweight platform for mounting lights, lasers, foregrips, and other accessories at nearly any position.

**Ergonomics & Controls**
The GRIP-N-RIP charging handle body is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with 6061-T6 handles and latch, and heavy-duty stainless steel roll pins. The Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip are constructed from glass-filled polymer with soft-touch overmolding for a secure, comfortable hold in any condition. A 6-position mil-spec receiver extension rounds out the package.
