Alps Mountaineering Helix 1-Person Backpacking Tent

Built for the serious solo adventurer, the Alps Mountaineering Helix 1-Person Tent delivers ultralight performance without sacrificing weather protection. Engineered with a free-standing 3-pole frame using premium 7000 series aluminum poles, this tent assembles quickly thanks to intuitive pole clips that snap securely into place — no fumbling at the trailhead or campsite.

The 20D 380T nylon ripstop fly features a 2000mm silicone/PU coating for UV resistance and lasting tautness, while the 3000mm-rated ripstop floor stands up to wet ground conditions with confidence. Factory-sealed fly and floor seams ensure maximum weather protection right out of the box, and extra guy-out points on the full-coverage fly keep the structure stable when conditions turn rough.

A front vestibule adds 8 sq. ft. of protected gear storage — ideal for boots, a pack, or wet layers — while full mesh walls promote exceptional airflow on warmer nights. Interior mesh storage pockets help keep your sleeping space organized. Included 7075 aluminum stakes and guy ropes round out the package, and a compatible Helix 1-Person Footprint is available separately to extend the life of your tent floor.
