The Daniel Defense DDM4V7 Mil-Spec+ in Brown delivers professional-grade performance built to exacting military specifications — right out of the box. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 16″ cold hammer-forged chrome moly vanadium steel barrel featuring a 1:7 twist rate, mid-length gas system, and chrome lining, this rifle is engineered for exceptional durability and consistent accuracy under demanding conditions.
Both the upper and lower receivers are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard coat anodizing, providing a rock-solid foundation. The lower features an enhanced flared magazine well and rear QD swivel attachment point, while the upper includes indexing marks and M4 feed ramps for reliable feeding. The M16-profile bolt carrier group is MP tested and chrome lined with a properly staked gas key — meeting and exceeding mil-spec standards.
The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 free-float handguard, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with full M-LOK compatibility, gives you maximum rail real estate for accessories while keeping weight down. The GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, Daniel Defense buttstock, and pistol grip — both crafted from glass-filled polymer with soft-touch overmolding — round out a package that’s ready to run from first round to last.
Additional highlights include a pinned low-profile gas block machined from 4140 hardened steel, a Daniel Defense flash suppressor in 17-4 PH stainless steel with salt bath nitride finish, and an H buffer for smooth, reliable cycling.
