Glenfield Model A Bolt Action Rifle | .223 Rem | 20″ Threaded Barrel | Moss Green Splatter Stock | 5rd

The Glenfield Model A Bolt Action Rifle in .223 Remington delivers precision-engineered performance in a rugged, feature-packed platform — and VanTon Arms has it in stock and ready to ship nationwide at a competitive price.

Built around a cold hammer-forged, 20″ threaded barrel with a 1:8″ RH twist and 5-groove rifling, the Model A is engineered for exceptional accuracy and long-term durability. The patented Power Bedding™ integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel, ensuring consistent, repeatable accuracy shot after shot.

The one-piece, three-lug bolt with a 70° throw cycles smoothly from the shoulder, offering generous scope clearance thanks to its full-diameter bolt body and dual cocking cams. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base means you’re ready to mount your optic right out of the box — no additional drilling or tapping required.

The user-adjustable trigger is set between 3 and 5 pounds of pull weight, giving shooters the flexibility to dial in the crisp, clean release they need for their shooting style. A two-position tang safety is visible, accessible, and easy to actuate for instant security in the field.

The Moss Green Splatter synthetic stock provides a confident, non-abrasive grip in any condition, while the soft rubber buttpad effectively absorbs recoil for extended range sessions. The AR-style 5-round magazine, sling swivel studs, and factory thread protector (1/2″-28 thread pattern) round out a complete, ready-to-go package.
