The CMMG Dissent BR4 in 5.56mm NATO is a purpose-built modern sporting rifle engineered for reliability, versatility, and refined ergonomics. Featuring CMMG’s distinctive side-charging handle design, the Dissent BR4 offers a familiar AR-pattern experience in a uniquely optimized platform. The 16.1-inch 4140CM steel barrel with a salt bath nitride (SBN) finish and a fast 1:7″ twist rate delivers excellent accuracy and durability across a wide range of .223 Rem/5.56 NATO loads. The non-threaded Empire Profile barrel pairs with a .750″ CAR-length gas system for smooth, consistent cycling. A Magpul SGA Remington-style stock provides an ergonomic, adjustable fit, complemented by a recoil pad for added comfort during extended sessions. The CMMG Zeroed Trigger offers a crisp, repeatable pull out of the box, while fully ambidextrous controls make this rifle equally capable in either hand. Finished in a Cerakote Black/Tungsten coating over both the metal and synthetic furniture, the Dissent BR4 strikes an aggressive, professional look that holds up to hard use.
