VanTon Arms Refund and Return Policy

1. Return Eligibility
- Standard Returns: Customers may return eligible items within 14 days from the date of purchase, as indicated on the receipt. A $20 restocking fee will apply to all returns that are not due to defects.
- Manufacturer Defects: Items with verified manufacturer defects can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
2. Non-Refundable Items
- Damaged or Tampered Goods: Items that have been damaged, tampered with, or show signs of misuse are not eligible for return or refund.
- Firearms and Ammunition: All sales of firearms and ammunition are final and non-returnable, except in cases of manufacturer defects.
- Custom Orders: Custom or special orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
3. Return Process
- Return Authorization: Before returning an item, customers must contact VanTon Arms to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.
- Condition of Returned Items: All returned items must be in their original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation. Items must be in new and resalable condition.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
4. Refund Process
- Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after the inspection.
- Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
5. Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning items, except in cases where the return is due to a manufacturer defect or an error on our part.
6. Restocking Fee
- Standard Returns: A $20 restocking fee applies to all standard returns.
- Waiver of Fee: The restocking fee may be waived at our discretion if the return is due to a verified manufacturer defect or an error on our part.
7. Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution
- Direct Resolution Requirement: Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, you agree to contact VanTon Arms directly to address any issues or disputes related to your transaction. This allows us the opportunity to resolve your concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Chargeback Liability: Unauthorized chargebacks may result in the suspension or termination of your account, and you may be held responsible for any resulting fees or expenses.
- Dispute Resolution Process: If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to first attempt mediation in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association in Casey, IA. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall then be resolved through binding arbitration in the same location.
8. Legal Compliance
This policy complies with all applicable Iowa state laws regarding consumer returns and refunds.
9. Policy Changes
VanTon Arms reserves the right to modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website.
