Alps Mountaineering Taurus 4-Person Camping Tent

The Alps Mountaineering Taurus 4-Person Tent is a rugged, reliable shelter built for campers who demand performance without compromise. Featuring a free-standing two-pole fiberglass design and easy pole-clip assembly, this tent sets up quickly so you can spend more time enjoying the outdoors.

Weather protection starts with a 75D 185T polyester fly with 1500mm waterproof coating and factory-sealed seams on both the fly and floor — keeping you dry when conditions turn. The 75D 185T poly taffeta floor with 2000mm coating adds a durable barrier against ground moisture, while extra-large #8 zippers on doors and vestibules ensure smooth, dependable access even with gloved hands.

Two doors with zippered mesh windows deliver easy entry and excellent cross-ventilation, while two vestibules (35″ deep, 25 sq. ft. total) give you dedicated space to stash boots, packs, and gear out of the elements. Mesh panels and pop-up vents further enhance airflow, making the Taurus 4 a comfortable basecamp in a wide range of conditions.

Inside, mesh storage pockets and an included gear loft keep essentials organized. The kit also includes 7075 aluminum stakes and guy ropes for added stability in wind. A compatible Taurus 4-Person Footprint is available separately for extended floor protection.
