Browning BL-22 Grade I Lever-Action Rifle – .22 LR, 20″ Barrel, 15+1, Walnut Stock

The Browning BL-22 Grade I is the lever-action .22 rimfire rifle that serious shooters have trusted for generations — and it’s easy to see why. Built to Browning’s exacting standards from muzzle to butt, this Grade I model combines classic styling with modern performance in a package that’s as fun to shoot as it is handsome to carry.

At the heart of the BL-22’s appeal is its signature 33° short-throw lever, which cycles faster and more smoothly than competing lever-action rimfires. Whether you’re working through a range session or moving quickly on a varmint hunt, that reduced lever arc keeps you on target and in the action. The trigger travels with the lever during the cycling process, a thoughtful Browning design feature that helps prevent finger pinch — a real difference-maker during rapid-fire sequences.

The receiver is machined from solid steel and finished in a rich blued finish, lending the BL-22 the durability and premium feel you’d expect from the Browning name. A grooved receiver top comes ready for scope rings or a rail-mounted optic right out of the box, giving you easy upgrade flexibility. The gloss-finish walnut stock is fitted with care, delivering the kind of wood-to-metal fit that elevates the BL-22 above the competition.

The easy-loading tubular magazine holds up to 15 rounds of .22 Long Rifle and accepts .22 Short and .22 Long ammunition as well — giving you flexibility at the range or in the field. Once loaded, the magazine tube locks securely in place for reliable, worry-free operation.
