Chiappa 1874 Sharps Falling Block Rifle – 45-70 Govt, 32″ Barrel, Color Case Hardened, Checkered Walnut Stock

Step back into the golden age of American long-range shooting with the Chiappa 1874 Sharps Case Colored Rifle in 45-70 Government. Faithfully reproduced with period-correct craftsmanship and modern quality control, this iconic falling block single-shot rifle is built for the serious collector, cowboy action shooter, or big-game hunter who demands authenticity and performance in equal measure.

At the heart of this rifle is a robust falling block action chambered in the legendary 45-70 Government cartridge — a round renowned for its power, heritage, and versatility. The 32-inch blued steel barrel delivers exceptional downrange accuracy, while the color case hardened receiver provides stunning visual contrast and a classic 19th-century aesthetic that sets this rifle apart on the range or in the display cabinet.

The double set trigger system allows shooters to choose between a standard pull or a feather-light set trigger for precision long-range shots. Hand-oiled checkered walnut furniture — including both the stock and pewter-accented forend — provides a refined, traditional look with a secure, comfortable grip. A dovetail blade front sight adjustable for windage pairs with a ladder-style rear sight adjustable for both windage and elevation, giving you the tools for accurate shooting at extended distances.
