Ed Brown KC9 G4 VTX 9mm 1911 Pistol with Vortex Venom Red Dot | 4″ Barrel | Black/Brown

The Ed Brown KC9 G4 VTX represents the pinnacle of American custom 1911 craftsmanship, now factory-equipped with a Vortex Venom Red Dot sight for unmatched target acquisition speed and precision. Built around the legendary 1911 platform, the KC9 G4 VTX retains 100% of the classic controls and handling characteristics you trust while incorporating a suite of modern performance enhancements engineered specifically for the 9mm Luger cartridge.

The re-engineered 4″ slide has been substantially thinned for meaningful weight reduction without sacrificing rigidity, and features Ed Brown’s signature 7-top custom cut paired with aggressive front and rear serrations for a secure, positive grip in any condition. The Vortex Venom 6 MOA red dot is factory-mounted and optimized for rapid target acquisition at close to moderate distances, delivering a precise point of aim whether you’re on the range or relying on this pistol for personal protection.

A single-stack Bobtail® frame provides an exceptionally comfortable and concealable profile, while the exclusive Snakeskin treatment on the forestrap and Bobtail® housing ensures a non-slip purchase under stress. The external extractor improves reliability with a wide range of 9mm ammunition, and the bull barrel combined with a guide rod and flat wire recoil spring system delivers smooth, consistent cycling and enhanced accuracy shot after shot.

Additional custom features include a recessed slide stop, easy-to-change black front sight, and a flush barrel with recessed crown—details that reflect Ed Brown’s meticulous attention to fit, finish, and function. Includes two 9-round single-stack magazines.
