Freedom Ordnance FX9 AR-Style Pistol Caliber Carbine 9mm 16.5″ Barrel FDE – 33rd Magazine Included

The Freedom Ordnance FX9 AR-Style Pistol Caliber Carbine in FDE (Flat Dark Earth) delivers a reliable, familiar AR15 platform chambered in 9mm Luger — an ideal choice for home defense, range training, and competitive shooting. Built around billet-machined aluminum upper and lower receivers with a mil-spec anodized finish, the FX9 is engineered to AR15 specifications so existing AR users can transition seamlessly with no new manual-of-arms learning curve.

At the heart of the FX9 is a 16.5″ 4150 chromoly steel barrel with a nitride finish and a 1:10 twist rate, paired with a 4140 chromoly Melonite/nitride-treated bolt for outstanding durability and corrosion resistance. The blowback action is tuned for reliable feeding and ejection with standard 9x19mm NATO ammunition. An AR-style muzzle brake (1/2″x28 TPI) ships standard and is compatible with a wide range of popular 9mm accessories.

Key operational controls mirror the AR15 platform exactly — including a last-round bolt hold open, standard safety selector, and familiar magazine release — making the FX9 intuitive for any AR-experienced shooter. The rifle ships with an SGM 33-round Glock-style magazine and features a 6-position adjustable U.S. stock for a customized fit. A lower M-LOK Picatinny rail section allows for easy accessory mounting, and broad AR15 accessory compatibility means your existing optics, grips, and furniture investments transfer directly.
