The GLFA .223 Wylde Braced Pistol delivers serious performance in a compact, pistol-length platform — and at $686, it’s one of the best values in its class. Chambered in the versatile .223 Wylde, this semi-automatic AR pistol shoots both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO, giving you maximum ammunition flexibility without sacrificing accuracy.

Built around a 7.5-inch heavy barrel (HBAR) with a fast 1:8 twist rate, the barrel is constructed from either 416R stainless steel or 4150 CrMoV with a nitride finish and features 1/2×28 threading for suppressor or muzzle device compatibility. A muzzle brake is included from the factory, designed for wrench-tightened installation at 6 degrees forward — no Loctite required.

The upper and lower receivers are machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum, keeping the overall weight at a trim 5.0 lbs. The pistol gas system runs a 0.750 gas block with black oxide finish and a pistol-length gas tube, optimized for reliable cycling in a short-barreled configuration. M4 feed ramps ensure smooth, consistent feeding across a wide range of ammunition.

The 7.125-inch aluminum 6061 handguard features a full-length Picatinny rail for lights, lasers, or foregrips, while the mil-spec polymer grip and milspec trigger (5.5–6 lb pull) keep controls familiar for any AR platform shooter.
