Haydel’s XLS-83 Extra Loud Specklebelly White Front Goose Call

Built for serious goose hunters who need to reach birds at long range or cut through blustery winds, the Haydel’s XLS-83 Extra Loud White Front Goose Call is a proven, competition-winning instrument developed in the heart of Louisiana goose country. Originally crafted for professional guides in Gueydan, Louisiana — one of the most legendary waterfowl destinations in the country — the XLS-83 delivers the volume and tone needed to turn distant specklebellies when conditions get tough.

This call has an impressive competition pedigree to back up its performance in the field. It claimed top honors as Winner and Runner-Up at the 1984 International Speckle Belly Goose Calling Contest, took gold at both the 1986 Louisiana State Contest and the Gueydan Duck Festival, finished First and Second at the 1988 Louisiana State Contest, and won the 1991 Hunters World Goose Calling Contest. Few calls on the market can match that level of proven, real-world validation.

Whether you’re hunting open marshes, agricultural flats, or any environment where distance and wind are factors, the XLS-83 gives you the reach and authenticity to get birds in range. At just $22.99, it’s an exceptional value from one of the most respected names in American waterfowl call craftsmanship.
