Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate .357 Magnum / .38 Special Lever-Action Rifle

The Henry Big Boy Brass Side Gate (Model H006GML) is a masterfully crafted lever-action rifle chambered in the versatile .357 Magnum / .38 Special, offering shooters the flexibility to run both cartridges from a single, beautifully appointed firearm. Built on Henry’s legendary Big Boy platform, this rifle features a polished brass receiver that delivers timeless Western aesthetics paired with modern reliability.

At the heart of this rifle is Henry’s redesigned side loading gate, allowing for convenient top-off loading without removing the tubular magazine — a highly practical upgrade that serious lever-gun enthusiasts have long demanded. The octagonal barrel provides a classic, period-correct profile while contributing to the rifle’s natural pointability and balance. Smooth lever-action cycling and a crisp trigger make this an equally capable choice for range shooting, hunting, or building your collection.

Chamber compatibility with both .357 Magnum and .38 Special means you can stretch your range sessions with economical .38 Special loads and step up to full-power .357 Magnum when the situation calls for it. Whether you’re pursuing whitetail at close range, riding competitive cowboy action circuits, or simply enjoying an afternoon at the range, the Big Boy Brass Side Gate delivers with authority.

Henry Repeating Arms is renowned for producing some of the finest American-made lever-action rifles available today, and the Big Boy Brass Side Gate is no exception — every detail reflects their commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and heritage.
