Kershaw Fire Starter – Magnesium Alloy Firesteel with Chrome Striker

Be ready for whatever the outdoors throws at you with the Kershaw Fire Starter. Built around a durable magnesium alloy firesteel shaft rated for up to 3,000 strikes, this compact survival essential delivers reliable sparks in rain, snow, or any condition Mother Nature has in store.

The chrome-plated striker is ergonomically easy to grip and use, while the molded plastic handle provides a comfortable, secure hold. A nylon lanyard cord keeps the Fire Starter accessible and ready when you need it most.

To use, simply position a small pile of dry grass, wood shavings, or other tinder, hold the firesteel shaft close to the pile, and draw the striker briskly down the shaft at a right angle. The resulting sparks ignite tinder quickly and efficiently — no lighters, no matches, no problem. The Fire Starter also works great for lighting camp stoves and gas barbecues, and in a pinch, its bright spark can serve as an emergency signal.

Compact enough to slip into a pocket, a dry box, or a survival kit, the Kershaw Fire Starter is an essential piece of gear for campers, hikers, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts at every level.
