Montana Decoy Co. The Freshman Buck Deer Decoy – Lightweight Fold-Flat Design

Turn up the drama in the whitetail woods with the Montana Decoy Co. The Freshman Buck Decoy. Designed with ears back and an aggressive, subordinate posture, this lifelike young buck decoy triggers the territorial instincts of mature bucks, drawing them into bow range with confidence. Elder bucks can’t resist putting an upstart in his place — and The Freshman is built to exploit that instinct perfectly.

Unlike traditional bulky plastic decoys, The Freshman folds completely flat for effortless pack-in and pack-out, then opens to full size in seconds — no wasted time, no fumbling in the field. At just 35 oz (including poles), it’s one of the lightest, most packable buck decoys on the market. Use it solo or pair it with one of Montana Decoy’s doe decoys to create a scene no dominant buck can ignore. Add the Teaser Tail (sold separately) for added movement and realism that seals the deal.
