Proof Research Elevation MTR 25 Creedmoor TFDE 22″ Bolt-Action Rifle

The Proof Research Elevation MTR (Mountain Tactical Rifle) in 25 Creedmoor with a 22-inch TFDE (Tan/FDE) finish barrel represents the pinnacle of precision long-range rifle engineering. Built around Proof Research’s industry-leading carbon fiber-wrapped barrel technology, the Elevation MTR delivers exceptional accuracy, dramatically reduced weight, and superior heat dissipation compared to traditional steel barrels — making it an ideal platform for hunters, competitive shooters, and precision rifle enthusiasts who demand performance without compromise.

The 25 Creedmoor chambering offers a compelling ballistic advantage, pushing high-BC projectiles at flat trajectories with manageable recoil, making it a favorite among long-range hunters pursuing medium to large game at extended distances. The 22-inch barrel length strikes a well-balanced profile between velocity retention and field-ready maneuverability.

Proof Research barrels are manufactured using a proprietary carbon fiber over-wrapping process on match-grade stainless steel liners, resulting in barrels that are up to 64% lighter than comparable steel barrels while maintaining match-grade precision. The TFDE finish blends seamlessly into field environments and withstands the rigors of backcountry use.

The Elevation MTR platform features a precision-machined aluminum chassis system designed for repeatable accuracy and modern ergonomics, accommodating a wide range of shooter preferences. Whether you’re threading through steep canyon country or setting up for a long-range precision shot, the Elevation MTR is engineered to perform.
