Armscor Rock Island M1911-A1 FS Tac 2011 .45 Auto 5″ Parkerized Full-Size 1911 Pistol – 8rd

The Armscor Rock Island M1911-A1 FS Tac 2011 delivers time-proven Series 70 1911 reliability with modern tactical enhancements, all at a price that won’t break the bank. Chambered in .45 Auto and built on a full-size frame, this semi-automatic pistol features a 5″ button-rifled barrel and an 8-round magazine capacity, making it an ideal choice for home defense, range training, or everyday carry enthusiasts who demand a duty-ready platform.

Constructed from 4140 ordnance steel using precision CNC machining, both the frame and slide are hand-fitted and confirmed to meet strict tolerance requirements for tightness, smoothness, and overall fit and finish. The durable Parkerized finish offers excellent corrosion resistance for long-lasting performance in the field or at the range.

Tactical upgrades elevate this classic design beyond the standard 1911. A full-length Picatinny rail on the dust cover accommodates lights and lasers, while the full-length guide rod and extended beavertail enhance control and reliability. The combat hammer and combat trigger with an adjustable overtravel stop deliver a crisp 4–6 lb. factory pull, giving shooters a consistent, confidence-inspiring break shot after shot. Sighting is handled by a dovetail-mounted standard front sight and a fixed low-profile angled rear sight, with narrow rear slide serrations providing a positive grip during press checks.

Black checkered polymer grips round out the ergonomics, keeping the overall length at a manageable 8.75″. Whether you’re a seasoned 1911 aficionado or building your first government-model pistol, the Rock Island Armory M1911-A1 FS Tac 2011 delivers exceptional value backed by decades of proven craftsmanship.
