Ruger American Gen II Predator Rifle – 7mm-08 Rem | 22″ Threaded Barrel | Green Splatter Stock

The Ruger American Gen II Predator in 7mm-08 Remington is a purpose-built precision hunting rifle engineered for accuracy, adaptability, and field-ready durability. Chambered in the versatile 7mm-08 Rem and fed by a 3-round magazine, this rifle is equally at home in a ground blind or stretched out on a long-range varmint setup.

At the heart of the Gen II Predator is a cold hammer-forged, medium-contour barrel featuring deep spiral flutes for reduced muzzle weight and improved balance. The 22″ barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and arrives with a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake, keeping you on target and suppressor-ready right out of the box. A professionally applied Cerakote finish on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle provides corrosion resistance and a clean, durable look under hard conditions.

Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable™ trigger delivers a crisp, user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, letting you fine-tune for your preferred shooting style. The one-piece CNC-machined stainless steel bolt features a familiar three-lug design with a 70° throw for maximum scope clearance, and the oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation even with gloved hands. A three-position tang safety allows the bolt to be locked while keeping the rifle loaded — a critical feature for hunters in the field.

The green splatter-finished stock offers a secure grip without abrasive texture, and the adjustable length of pull (12″ to 13.75″ with the included spacer) ensures a proper fit for a wide range of shooters. The removable low comb optimizes alignment with magnified optics, while Ruger’s Power Bedding™ integral block system locks in receiver placement and free-floats the barrel for consistent, repeatable accuracy.

A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is included, along with steel sling swivel studs and one magazine. The soft rubber recoil pad with large-radius heel geometry absorbs felt recoil progressively, making extended range sessions more comfortable.

Whether you’re targeting predators at distance or hunting whitetail in tight timber, the Ruger American Gen II Predator delivers serious performance at a competitive price point. Order online today at VanTon Arms and enjoy fast nationwide shipping to your preferred FFL dealer.
