Savage Arms Axis 2 XP Compact Rifle – 400 Legend, OD Green, 20″ Barrel with 3-9×40 Scope

The Savage Arms AXIS 2 XP Compact is built for hunters who demand reliable, out-of-the-box performance without sacrificing affordability. Chambered in the hard-hitting 400 Legend and wearing a rugged OD Green finish, this bolt-action rifle is ready for the field from the moment it arrives. The 20-inch barrel delivers excellent velocity and handling in tighter environments, while the redesigned ergonomic stock features enhanced texturing and an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for a secure, comfortable hold in any hunting condition.

At the heart of the AXIS 2 XP Compact is Savage’s renowned user-adjustable AccuTrigger, letting you dial in a crisp, consistent pull tailored to your preference. Thread-in headspacing ensures optimal chamber fit and tack-driving accuracy shot after shot. The updated bolt handle offers an ergonomic, sleek design that improves control and cycling speed—even in rain, cold, or gloves.

The factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40mm scope comes equipped with fully multi-coated lenses for bright, clear optics in low-light conditions, plus tool-less windage and elevation adjustments for quick zeroing in the field. The detachable 4-round box magazine rounds out a package that’s purpose-built for whitetail, hog, and big game hunting alike.
