Introduce your young shooter to the fundamentals of marksmanship with the Savage Arms Rascal, widely regarded as the safest micro-rimfire rifle in the industry. Chambered in .22 LR and designed specifically for youth shooters, the Rascal delivers full-size rifle features scaled down to the perfect proportions for beginning marksmen.
Safety is built into every aspect of the Rascal’s design. The rifle cocks by simply lifting the bolt, and—unlike many rimfires—it can be unloaded without pulling the trigger, eliminating one of the most common causes of accidental discharge in training environments. A manual safety adds an additional layer of protection for new and developing shooters.
Despite its youth-oriented design, the Rascal refuses to compromise on quality or performance. Savage’s renowned user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows for a customized, crisp pull that helps young shooters develop proper trigger discipline from day one. Adjustable peep sights and a feed ramp round out a feature set that rivals rifles at far higher price points.
