Build real shooting skills with the Savage Rascal FV-SR — a youth rimfire rifle engineered for accuracy, safety, and suppressor-ready versatility. Chambered in .22 LR and featuring a 16.13″ heavy carbon steel barrel with a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle, the FV-SR is purpose-built for young or small-framed shooters who demand full-size performance in a compact package.
At the heart of the Rascal FV-SR is Savage’s legendary user-adjustable AccuTrigger system, allowing shooters to dial in a crisp, consistent pull that promotes proper trigger discipline and repeatable accuracy. The reliable single-shot bolt-action design cocks simply by lifting the bolt and — in a standout safety feature — allows the rifle to be unloaded without pulling the trigger, making it one of the safest youth rimfire rifles on the market.
The durable black synthetic stock holds up to field use and range sessions alike, while the matte blued heavy barrel delivers enhanced rigidity and heat resistance for improved shot-to-shot consistency. A tactical bolt handle, feed ramp, and manual safety round out the feature set. The package also includes ear plugs and a firearms lock for responsible storage right out of the box.
Whether you’re introducing a new shooter to the fundamentals or looking for a suppressor-ready .22 LR trainer, the Savage Rascal FV-SR punches well above its price point. Order online today at VanTon Arms and take advantage of our competitive pricing and fast nationwide shipping.
